An integrated and unique model in West Africa.
The Smart Agro-Industrial Complex developed by EDENGY brings together, on a single site, agricultural production, industrial processing, training, and community life. This integration ensures a complete value chain, from cassava root to finished products (starch and composite flours), while generating direct impact on employment, local economies, and the environment.
Responsible and productive agriculture
Each complex is based on more than 7,500 hectares of cassava cultivation, managed according to organic farming principles: local seed varieties, crop rotation, and organic soil amendments. The dual objective is clear: to produce at scale while preserving soil fertility and strengthening local food security.
Turnkey industrial units
Thanks to our partnership with TIAST Group, a leader in agro-industrial integration in West Africa, each site is equipped with state-of-the-art processing units capable of producing 15,000 tons of starch and composite flours per year. The technology is adapted to African contexts and designed to guarantee consistency, traceability, and premium quality.
Modern and sustainable living base
At the heart of each complex, a fully integrated living base accommodates more than 500 employees and their families. It includes housing, a health clinic, food services, recreational facilities, and places of worship. Designed as a modern village, it reflects our values of dignity, security, and well-being for all who work and live on-site.
Training and innovation center
A dedicated agronomic laboratory, a maintenance workshop, and a training center strengthen local skills and foster applied research. The Edengy Academy trains technicians, engineers, and managers every year, ensuring continuous upskilling of local communities and long-term autonomy.
Food security and import substitution
By substituting 15–20% of imported wheat with locally produced cassava starch in composite flour, we reduce foreign currency outflows and strengthen national food sovereignty. Bread, pasta, and biscuits become more affordable while supporting a regional agro-industrial value chain.
Job creation and inclusion
Each site generates over 500 direct jobs and several hundred indirect jobs. We recruit and train locally, integrate agricultural cooperatives, and secure part of our supply through community contracts. This model fosters social stability and rural development.
Infrastructure and local anchoring
The complex is more than just a factory: it develops roads, irrigation systems, energy solutions, and essential services that also benefit surrounding populations. It becomes a structuring development hub, embedded within the regional economy.
Multi-sites, multi-countries
Guinea is the first step in a multi-site strategy to be deployed across other West African countries. Each new site applies the same integrated model, adapted to local realities.
Scalability and performance
The EDENGY model is designed for growth: each new industrial unit doubles production capacity and strengthens local value chains. Within five years, we aim for a ramp-up of 7,500 hectares and a valuation estimated at USD 100 million.
A secured model
Our revenues rely on a solid mix:
Starch: volumes guaranteed by a secured off-take agreement with TIAST.
Composite flour: a strategic, high-margin product in strong demand from governments and food industries.
Our revenues are built on a solid mix
. Starch: volumes secured through a guaranteed off-take agreement with TIAST.
. Composite flour: a high-margin, strategic product in strong demand from governments and the food industry.
A differentiating lever for West Africa
EDENGY’s Smart Agro-Industrial Complex is not just a factory: it is an integrated, sustainable, and inclusive model designed to:
. Address food security challenges,
. Stimulate local economies,
. Create skilled jobs,
. Reduce imports and strengthen agro-industrial independence,
. While adhering to the highest ESG standards.
A scalable, secured, and value-creating project, designed to position West Africa as a key player in the global agro-industrial landscape.
