Their adaptability to extreme climatic conditions enables cultivation on marginal lands without affecting food crop needs, making them a beneficial substitute for fossil fuels.

The production process is primarily powered by the excess energy contained within the raw material itself. The torrefaction reactor removes residual gases from the raw material, which are then used to generate the heat required for processing.
